We had an opportunity to join one of Lorna’s weekly Taste & Tipple Tours in Clonakilty, West Cork recently. Over the course of eight culinary stops through the bustling streets of this vibrant town, we got to meet local producers, restaurant proprietors, chefs, cafe owners, shop owners and distillers.
We got to taste some of the most exciting products and creations to come out of West Cork, including the famous Clonakilty black pudding, some incredible pastries, delicious seafood, a healthy and tasty salad prepared by Lorna, finishing with a relaxing Whiskey, Gin and Vodka tasting at the Clonakilty distillery.
We got to hear some exciting stories from local producers and Lorna shared some interesting nutritional knowledge with the group.
We really enjoyed the experience and the relaxed, casual vibe along the way and would highly recommend the tour to both locals and visitors! Bookings Required.
